"The map is not the place" said A.E. van Vogt so we can consider that to be true.
In the case of beautiful area's like Scotland the place is also not the (normal) map  considering the worthless ugly maps that exist to plan your trips.

I plan my trips to Scotland on the traditional beautiful and accurate Bartholomeus  maps and I used them make a digital version that you can use to look around and plan your own trips to Scotland. 

The program contains html documents which can also be used to make your own private website if you would like.   (The internet was meant  to look this
way in the Netscape days before Chrome, Edge and all the Meta shit existed)
